Hope.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the Wisdom to know the difference.

This prayer is pretty famous, often seen on posters.

It is now mine.

Shyt.

Practically the whole uni's on holiday already, but I still have to attend tutorials and lectures.

Why? Because a goody-goody two shoes lecturer who was very adamant in following the stupid schedule word for word, whereas all the other lecturers canceled this week's classes in view of a longer break.

Yes I admit, you are a pretty good lecturer. I've got to give it to you, the methods used to convey your knowledge to us is indeed effective, considering the fact that you're able to keep everyone's attention till the end of the lecture, which is no mean feat. Many lecturers have evidently failed in that department, to the class's disappointment.

But darn it, you tried too hard this time. Because of you, we've to come for classes tomorrow. Idiot.

And that brings me to my other gripe. In view of the long break, my final exam dates have been affected. Final exam week is usually only a week long. But for this term, its on the 1st week of Dec till the 3rd week of Dec, which is bloody 3 times the usual length.

When I asked for an explanation of such a lengthy exam period, I was informed that the exam will commence on the 1st week of Dec, then there's no paper on the 2nd week in view of the public holidays on that particular week, and the remaining papers will be on the 3rd week. This is very inconvenient.

Because I am going to Bali the whole 3rd week, and now that seems very unlikely. It was planned since January, and now my ticket is useless. Was looking forward to it too.

Needless to say, I am upset.

Update.

Classes were like clockwork last week. Had exams here and there. The results fell short of my expectations. Have to up the effort.

Saturday. Woke up early for breakkie at Oldtown Kopitiam, then headed to the Calvary Carnival 2008 at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club, with Joel in tow. Suffice to say, storm clouds were hovering when we got there.

Rain fell in torrents not long after we arrived. Met up with her and went around checking stuff out. Got hold of Crimson Epiphany's album too, upon her recommendation. Went home about 3-ish.

Went for service not long after that, and then dinner with cg.

A thounsand apologies, Roe.For not being able to send you off. It has been a great pleasure knowing you all this years. We practically watched each other grow lol. All the best in your studies and future undertakings yah. Godspeed, old friend.

Went for 1st service today, to pass some stuff to a friend and to collect my shirt too.

That's all for now. I am back at the home at the uni. Its back to books.

Varsity camp.

Went for the annual varsity camp. This year's theme was Point Of Difference (P.O.D). From Friday till Monday.

I never actually gave much thought of my point of difference. So there I went for camp, to find out.

And what a great camp it was.

But then again, what makes a great camp?

Good music, great sessions, the people and the like?

Yes, all of the above but there's one more thing. And that is an encounter with our Creator. A touch from Him. Nothing in this world can substitute that.

I had an encounter with my Creator. And for me, that makes a great camp.

Interceded for our beloved country too, while she celebrated her 51st year of independence.

But nevertheless, no camp is complete without nonsense and crap. Haha. =)

This was Khai Kyun's idea.

Games Group. Spawn is black, I know.

The eye of heaven sets on Independence Day.

Sarah and her card tower.

Games briefing by Jeremy.

With Lydia the psychiatrist, Sam the computer analyst and Joan the dietitian.

With Sue Ann. That's Victor in the foreground.

Every camp, sure must take a CG shot. Melanie, welcome to PCCG.

It was the babies turn after the group shot, to the immense joy of the photographers. So cute la, that boy. =)

That was camp 2008.

Life continues.

A few updates.

A lil sunburst behind the clouds. Shot using my phone, while driving.

Still sorting stuff out at the new house. My new bed was changed due to some stupid problem involving the bed board. Nevertheless, another new bed arrived so I'm happy.

Was rummaging through some stuff when I came across this. It was daddy's old camera. And a pretty cool one too. Take a look...

The Yashica.

And something I bought for the princess.

Adorable lil things, ain't they?

And lastly, this is to a friend who departed peacefully on a Wednesday morning.

Wong Ju Liang, may you rest in peace, and may your soul find endless joy in heaven above. You were so passionate for God, eventhough you were suffering. And your life has inspired many. Knowing you was indeed a blessing.

Ju Ping, may you find peace and be comforted in such a time as this, knowing that your brother is now in heaven, free from all pain and suffering. Take care, dude.

Second.

A very happy 2nd anniversary. To the sweetheart of mine.

May your joy and laughter continue to resound within.

I Love You.

Moving on.

Attended my cousin's farewell on Saturday evening. It was held at Ogawa, some Japanese restaurant located at USJ Taipan.

His name is Ho Jian You. Leaving for U.S this Friday. Majoring in Finance.

Gonna miss you, dude. And please gain some muscle when you're over there la.

And BE GOOD.

The dude.

The food was good. There wasn't much of a variety, though.

The other cousins, Jason and Martin.

And the brother who posed.

And oh yea, I have finally moved. My house has moved.

Wait. Sorry. I mean I've moved. I have finally switched houses. As in, my home back in Puchong. Though the new house is just a mere 5km away from the old one.

The last weekend was spent packing stuff into boxes and moving them to the new place. And it was giler-sial tiring.

Didn't go out at all, and I skipped church too. That was how much packing I had to do.

And yet I haven't really cleared my stuff yet. Half of it is at the new place and the other half is at the old place.

Anyways, here's something that mummy bought to help clean the floor.

Its no Roomba, but it certainly does the job. Its a lil intelligent thing that scurries around, sucking up dust with a static cloth located at the bottom.

Moving on..

Movies that I've watched lately.

It was an okay movie, with the usual scares and a lil blood here and there. Didn't know that the Mayan tribe were so hostile. Stupid ending though. Everyone died. Like wth.

Another good Judd Apatow flick, though Kristen Bell is nothing to shout about. Faking orgasms? Hilarious.
This movie is quite stupid. But then again, it's an Adam Sandler flick, but I expected better from him la. Stupid accent too. But Rob Schneider was damn funny in his Arab role.

That's all for now, folks.

Memories.

Raub.

3 days 2 nights. 1 unforgettable experience.

Up next, Passion World Tour 2008.

Another awesome experience.

Absence, Passion and a Dedication.

Yes, I was absent from the world wide web for a substantially long time. I wasn't really bothered about it until now.

Lazy to post Raub shots. Read Sam's blog here if you want to read an almost detailed diary about the entire trip, pictures included.

6 long days at the uni is taking its toll of me. I came back on Saturday, late afternoon. And I'm already on my way back to uni on Sunday night. Shucks, spent less than 24 hours back home. The semester timetable is sucking big time.

Went for Passion World Tour 2008, last night. The turnout was stupendous. Went there early, to avoid the massive jam. A lil past noon, and the Pyramid parking was already max-ed out by then. And oh my, what an experience it was. Chris Tomlin was crackin amazing up there, and so was Loius Giglio, who gave a very inspiring and heart warming message.

The church of God shall rise. Among this generation. God is in this city.

And Ashley, may the story of your life continue to render the hearts of many out there, as it did to mine.

Chris Tomlin ended the event with a blast. It was indeed awesome.

And I just only woke up. Gonna start an assignment. Another stretch of uni life.

But I'm starting this week with a smile.

Last but not least...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD.

May you live long. But wiser every year? No comments... =p

Mission: Raub.

Came back last Thursday eventhough I had lectures on Friday, due to the impending mission trip to Raub the following day.

Picked up Sam and Josh and then rushed off to church.

Boarded the van and we were on our way. With Ming, Sek Teng, Cheryl, Sharon, Angie and Shern Ai.

In a nutshell, we spent 3days and 2nights there, came back on Sunday evening.

And oh my, it was certainly a blast. It was indeed an eye-opener for me.

Pics will be uploaded soon, once I've gotten all of it from Sam the cameraman.
