Happenings.

This post is long due, I think.

Signal strength at the house near the uni is darn low, so connecting to the world wide web is merely a wish. For now.

Anyway, was at the Quik Revo 2.0 last Saturday, with a couple of friends. It was good. Pro surfers and skaters were present, showing off their carefully orchestrated stunts. Some fell flat though.

Sun, sands and good fun. Didn't get much of a tan though.

Pity, the k800i greatly feared the water, so it decided to hibernate in the locker while it's owner splashed around. Pretty wasted, cuz there was so many nice shots that could be taken. Oh well.

Had dinner in Secret Recipe, then Ajimal, then back home.

Was at O.U the next day, with the same bunch of people. Caught Rambo 4 on the big screen. Pretty good movie, as expected. a tad short though.

Headed back to uni not long after that.

Same ol' mundane routine of lectures, assignments and stress.

Came back yesterday evening, dinner-ed, and then headed out for a drink with Laura, Nigel and Simone. Then dropped by Mackers for ice cream, to satisfy Joel's insatiable craving for the sundae.

Will be heading to Awana, Gentings, later today. Short break, quoted dad. Wth.

Darn la, I don't wanna go. But what to do, there's no excuse for disobedience. That, coming from me, is something.

Have to go pack now.

I miss you.

Goings On.

First week of uni has gone by. Not too bad, I suppose. But the timetable's messed up. Wait, make that 'very'. Adminstration sucks too. Same goes to the academics dept. But at least I have Friday off. Hopefully it stays that way.

Lecturers for the respective classes were downright boring. One class even started with a lecturer talking about I.Q, and he insists that it stands for Intelligent Quantity. Psssft.

Even a moron (the lowest level of the Mensa grade) will tell you that I.Q stands for Intelligent Quotient.

Oh well. I shall refrain from banging that poor dude. He's the Cabin Design lect, btw.

On a brighter note, it was good seeing my classmates. Super nonsense bunch.

Came home on the usual Thursday.

Went out, chilled, had fun. The usual.

Result of an afternoon at Midvalley today.

Next week looks a lil promising cuz Wednesday is a public holiday. Woohoo. My case, every off day counts.

Madness.

I woke up at 11.30am, which was unquestionably late because the registration for the upcoming semester at the uni starts at 8am.

Arrived there, and took a number. With little knowledge that there were 400 numbers, and once the no. 400 is hit, it starts back at no.1 again. I got no. 127, and I was clueless that the numbers had already repeated, don't know how many times.

Pretty confusing. The whole system was unanimously pathetic, hands down. Because everyone was lost. Like me. =)

So while waiting for my turn which I knew it would take forever, I went to check out the house that I'm renting with a couple of my classmates.

When I wanted to go back to uni to check whether my turn has passed, my car failed me.

The blardee thing couldn't start. The cause of it was the wire that connects the starter and the spark plug or something like that. The happy result of 2 friends twiddling with the engine to find what went wrong. Thanks, guys.

My number had passed by the time I came back. Shucks.

After that I had more registration headaches because I found out that I haven't paid the fees, so had to go to Nilai's CIMB to settle it.

And my result slip stated that I failed Maths, whereas I haven't sat for the final paper. Lagi worse headache.

It was already 5pm+ by the time I finally had everything done. Was one of the last few to leave.

And to top it off, I was caught in a stoopeed jam on the way back. Stuck in the car for a wonderful hour.

The whole day had madness written all over it.

Whisper.

Just a glimpse of you would suffice.

05.01.08

Slept at 5am.

Only to be jolted awake at 10am+ by my always foolish bro, Joel fool =). He needed a lift somewhere. And yes, I wanted to sleep longer. Oh well.

Anyway, after dropping him off, I killed time mostly with the laptop.

Went to church at about 5.30pm. First service of 2008. It was good. =)

And headed to My Elephant, a Thai restaurant at ss17, Petaling Jaya, for Navee's dinner. She just came back from NZ.

The environment was quite cosy. The food was good too.

I guess that's about it.

P.S: Rachel, I can't post it up on the cg blog. I'll pass it to someone instead.

Daily happenings.

Woke up at 7am yesterday morning for my Maths test.

Drove for about 45mins to my uni, through a picturesque but windy road.

Just to be greeted by the QA dept. saying...

"Sorry, your paper is postphoned to the 16th"

wth.

Drove all the way back. Quite pissed. Went back to bed after that.

Went to the park to jog later in the evening with some friends. Quite fun.

Slept late, because was watching the Saya Ialah Lagenda movie (I Am Legend) on dvd. Stupid movie lah. Even the British-y 28 Weeks Later was a lil better, maybe due to the gore but equally plot-absent and dumb.

What a day.

2008.

Come the last night of the year. I was at church for Thanksgiving. After that...

It was good. Lots of things happened. Some memorable, some just plain stupid. Caught the first sunrise of the year too. Lol.

Jeremiah brought his Nintendo Wii too. Gile chunted. But damn farney seeing people playing it. The antics so stupid. Haha.

Went for lunch with Josh and gang later in the afternoon. My bro and I left early though, because we were already half dead.

Slept for 3 hours only though. Was awakened by a phone call. Had to go for dinner too anyway.

Will be at home today, due to my imminent Maths exam coming up.

Thats all for now.
